In this body of work, Micah McCoy seeks to unravel the secrets of the land and investigate the ways the landscape shapes belief. What about this place provides the wellspring for these particular mythologies? These photos embody the rhizomes of his family and their faith. Through chronicling the indifferent landscape of the Midwest, he has endeavored to answer certain questions and in the process, come to terms with his relationship with this place.
